Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person with a passion for good home cooking and baking to join our fabulous team.

This job would typically suite a head chef who loves the buzz of a fast paced kitchen, loves to bake, and who is accustomed to producing quality fresh food to order.

This role requires good leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a flair for creating quality homemade food from scratch. As Head Chef, you will oversee all food production, ensure exceptional quality standards, and inspire your team to deliver outstanding service in a lively hospitality setting.

We are a family run business and pride ourselves on our long-standing staff retention and great working environment. We look after our staff like a family and always reward our teams dedication and hard work.

Responsibilities:

Daily running of the kitchen
Prepare & cook quality homemade food to order
Bake homemade scones, cakes, tray-bakes, and afternoon teas.
Designing new menu’s and seasonal specials
Develop recipes and portion specifications
Applying established procedures and budgetary constraints
Maintain safe, secure, and clean work environment and maintain our 5 star food hygiene award.
Coach, train, and motivate a lovely team to help them achieve their development goals and potential.

Requirements

Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment, be hardworking and a good team player. They must also be self motivated with the desire to to a good job and be able to work to the companies high standards in food preparation, presentation, timing and all aspects of food service. Our venue is amazing and has seen the business grow from strength to strength. We are looking for someone with a genuine personality and with passion and drive to lead our fabulous team.
