Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and Self Employed Delivery Van Driver to join our team in Rochester Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and customer service, looking to contribute to a dynamic logistics operation. The position requires a valid driver’s licence and prior experience in commercial driving.Free van, insuarance and petrol provided at no cost. Extra weekend work if required. Duties

Safely operate delivery vans to transport goods to designated destinations.
Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and timeliness.
Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws during daily operations.
Able to deliver 30-50 stops daily.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Ability to organise routes efficiently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations is preferred.
Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their driving skills and delivering excellent service while maintaining safety standards at all time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day
