Job Overview:
The Multi-Skilled Tradesperson will work across a variety of residential and commercial properties throughout Swansea and surrounding areas. Duties will vary depending on workload and client requirements and will include general property repairs, maintenance and improvement works. The ideal candidate will be experienced, reliable, practical and capable of completing work independently to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
· Carry out general property maintenance, repairs and improvement works.
· Undertake carpentry and joinery tasks, including fitting doors, skirting boards, architraves and ironmongery.
· Complete minor plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, flooring and decorating works.
· Install and repair kitchens, bathroom fittings, partition walls, ceilings and other internal finishes where required.
· Diagnose maintenance issues and identify suitable, cost-effective repairs.
· Travel between job sites using company vehicles during working hours.
· Take job photographs, record materials used and provide updates using basic IT systems and mobile devices.
· Ensure all work is completed in line with company health and safety procedures, risk assessments and client requirements.
· Maintain company tools, equipment, uniforms and vehicles in a clean, safe and professional condition.
· Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team while maintaining excellent customer service.
Skills and Requirements:
· Full UK driving licence (essential).
· Proven experience in property maintenance, construction or multiple trades.
· Competence in at least two core trades, with a broad understanding of general building and repair work.
· Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with good customer communication skills.
· Good attention to detail and the ability to complete work to a high standard.
· Ability to assess tasks, solve problems and work independently or within a team.
· Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work, lifting materials, working outdoors and occasionally working at height.
· Basic IT skills required for communication, job updates and photographs; CSCS card and DBS check are advantageous.
