Job Description

Location: Hamilton Town House, Cadzow Street, Hamilton

Hours: 21 hours per week

Work Pattern: To be confirmed

Hourly Rate: £14.12 - £14.27 per hour

Duration: Fixed Term until 31 March 2027

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Facilities Assistant (Catering) to join their team at the Hamilton Town House.

This is a varied and hands-on-role supporting our food and beverage operations across the venue, including weddings, functions, meetings and theatre bar service.

Your duties will include preparing and serving food to a high standard, providing a comprehensive catering service for weddings, private functions and corporate meetings. Operating and assisting with the running of our theatre bars. Maintaining a high standard of hygiene, healthy and safe working environment.

Previous catering or hospitality experience is essential, as is a valid REHIS qualification.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends is also essential.
