Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of accounts. This position requires proficiency in Xero accounting software . The ideal candidate will be organised, able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills.

Duties

Maintain financial records using accounting software Xero.
Reconcile supplier statements and provide monthly payments list.
Liaise with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or enquiries related to accounts.
Support the finance team and directors with any ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role, preferably as an Account Administrator or similar position is a must for a minimum of 3 years experience.
Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or equivalent systems.
Strong understanding of accounts.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is desirable but not essential.
