Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader/Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing teams in a retail environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in leading a motivated team, optimise operational efficiency, and contribute to organisational success. Candidates should be organised, proactive, and capable of motivating others to achieve their best.

Duties

Lead and supervise a team to ensure high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Manage daily team activities, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team engagement.
Oversee merchandising strategies to maximise sales opportunities and maintain visual standards.
Provide training and development support to team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, stock management, and maintaining records.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist in resolving customer queries or complaints promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

Skills

Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams within the retail sector.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and administrative tasks.
Effective communication skills.
Sound time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
Experience in retail management is advantageous.
Proficiency in organisational tools such as point-of-sale.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining professionalism. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about leading teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving organisational growth through effective supervision and management practices.

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
