Teaching Assistant at Edith Moorhouse Primary

Location: Edith Moorhouse Primary School, Lawton Avenue, Carterton, Oxfordshire, OX18 3HP

Contract Type: Fixed Term (1 Year)

Contract Term: 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027

Hours: 29.15 hours per week, term-time only (Monday to Friday, 8:40am to 3:00pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Salary: £16,636.50 actual annual salary (Grade 4)

What You’ll Bring

Experience with Children: Proven experience working with or caring for children of a relevant age, with a preference for those who have supported individuals with SEND.
Core Academic Skills: Strong mathematical and English communication skills to confidently support learning delivery and feedback.
Technical Literacy: Ability to make effective use of basic ICT packages to support classroom learning activities.
Professional Mindset: A collaborative approach to teamwork, an understanding of classroom boundaries, and the capacity to evaluate your own learning needs.
