Camden Head Office - Merchandising Team
Permanent, Full Time
Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm
Salary – £26,500 per annum
This is an entry level opportunity for a candidate looking to begin a career in Merchandising. Reporting to the Merchandiser, you’ll be responsible for the allocation and replenishment of stock to our outlet stores. The ideal candidate will be analytically minded, have a head for numbers and ideally have recent shopfloor and stockroom experience with a high street fashion retailer.
Skills/Experience required:
- Fashion/analytical related degree/qualifications preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas.
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent Communication Skills
- A passion to develop a career in Merchandising is essential!
Main responsibilities:
- Action the initial allocation and replenishment of stock to our outlet stores.
- Ensure that ideal stock levels are set correctly to meet sales demand, including building stock for promotional events and peak periods.
- Regularly review aged stock in the warehouse and action allocations to outlets based on seasonality and category performance.
- Monitor stock flows into outlets from other channels.
- Provide weekly sales and stock reports at store and style level, and prepare ad hoc analysis as required.
- Communicate with stores and area managers, using any feedback to action adjustments and allocations where necessary.
- Liaise with the warehouse teams and proactively track the stock movements within the warehouse and dispatches to stores, ensuring any anticipated problems are highlighted to the appropriate colleagues in a timely manner.
