Key Outline: The primary function of the CNC Operator is to ensure that the machinery is operated in a safe & clean manner. Ensuring zero defects & planned route times are delivered.
Main responsibilities include:
· Follow all health & safety guidelines ensuring safety for themselves and others, also maintain compliance with the companies QMS by following the company quality procedures.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working area, always, through regular routines and adhering to housekeeping policies & procedures.
· Setting up machines in accordance with procedure so they are ready to be used.
· Eventually carry out & record 1st off and last off products as per quality procedure (Subject to training level).
· Carry out and record quality checks as stated on Works Orders in line with specification requirements.
· Ensure specifications are adhered to at, all times.
· Ensuring all paperwork is filled out correctly, neatly and is maintained in a quality state pending sign off.
· Report any problems or issues to either Lead Operator or Team Leader

Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in logistics, manufacturing, (desirable)
- Previous experience in CNC / Production Line (experience preferred)
- Physically capable of manual handling tasks
- Good awareness of health and safety practices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills and ability to manage workload effectively

Working Hours & Pay
- Working Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12hrs 6am to 6pm
- Weekly Hours: 36hrs per week
- Pay Rate: £13.24ph
- As a weekend worker you will be paid an additional 4hrs shift allowance at £13.24phr for each 12hr shift weekend day worked (weekends classed as Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
- This gives an equivalent hourly rate of £17.63p

Training
Up to 6 weeks to be worked on days Monday to Thursday 6am to 6pm 48hrs per week for training. Rate of pay £13.24phr
