Medical device assembler with an eye for detail and exceptional hand-eye coordination, responsible for the assembly, repair and testing of mechanical devices used in the medical field for measuring rates of respiration.
Essential duties and responsibilities:-
Assemble medical devices according to exact specifications, follow work instructions and detailed drawings, possess good close vision and fine motor skills to be able to work with small items at close range. Assemble small precision mechanisms including wheels, jewels and pinions. Use drills and other tools to fashion parts to fit. Carry out repairs and testing following appropriate work instructions. Pick parts for assembly BOM's as required. Ensure all duties are performed to current SOP requirements. Ensure that cleanliness of production area is maintained. Assist in maintenance of device records, certificates and QS paperwork. Investigate and resolve complaints associated with the devices. Perform QA final inspection and testing using appropriate test equipment. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of production test equipment. Maintain product quality by complying with regulations and ensuring product compliance with all applicable medical device standards and regulations.
