Full job description

We are seeking to recruit a Bank facilities assistant to work at our sites in Haywards Heath as and when required.

If you are approachable, flexible, able to work unsupervised and are reliable and if you want to make a positive difference to the experience of people in our care then this could be the perfect role for you.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work equally well on their own or as part of a team, to deliver and achieve high standards of
environmental cleaning and prepare meals for service.

We need people who recognise the importance of a clean environment and food safety as well as the importance of adherence to infection
prevention and control standards at all times.

To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to be fully vaccinated
against COVID-19.

We value our workforce and will ensure that the successful candidate will have the training and support needed to achieve the highest standards
possible.

Duties include but are not limited to: - vacuum cleaning, damp mopping of floors, damp dusting of furniture/fittings, cleaning of mirrors and internal
glass, sanitary ware, e.g. baths, showers, sinks, toilets, washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork, high dusting of walls and ceilings, floor cleaning
using machinery etc.. In addition the role will require some food handling to support the provision of the meal service for patients in our care.

Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
