Pay: £28,000.00 per year

Job Description:

Hygiene Technician

Salary: £28,000 per annum, plus overtime opportunities and weekend rota.

Hours: 40 hours per week, with regular overtime available and participation in a 1-in-5 weekend rota.

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and motivated Hygiene Technicians to join our growing team.

Working on an exciting nationwide project supporting a major fast-food brand, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled 28-day hygiene cleans and basic preventative maintenance on specialist equipment.

You will ensure all work is completed in accordance with food safety standards, manufacturer specifications and local health regulations. The role plays a vital part in maintaining equipment performance, preventing contamination, reducing downtime and delivering excellent customer service.

As a representative of the Company, you will maintain the highest standards of professionalism, safety and compliance at all times, including the correct use of PPE and adherence to electrical and workplace safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for hardworking, dependable individuals who:

Can follow cleaning schedules and procedures accurately
Complete documentation correctly and on time
Proactively identify and report maintenance issues
Have a strong focus on health and safety
Are keen to learn new skills and develop their career

Previous experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

Commercial catering equipment
Hygiene or specialist cleaning services
Water hygiene
Facilities maintenance
Field service or technician roles
Basic electrical or mechanical awareness

Company-provided training – no prior experience required, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career and progress into an Engineering role.
