What you'll be doing
Setting the direction for all internal and external communications
Leading our brand and reputation, making sure everything we say reflects who we are
Owning crisis and issues management, guiding us through complexity with confidence
Building influential relationships across political, regional and sector networks
Driving engaging internal communications that support change and bring people with us
Acting as our senior spokesperson, representing Platform with credibility and impact
Leading a high-performing team, creating a culture where people can bring their best
What you'll bring
You'll be an experienced, strategic leader who knows how to operate at pace and at scale.
A strong track record in senior communications, PR or external affairs roles
Experience in complex or regulated environments (housing experience is a bonus)
Deep expertise in reputation and crisis management
A natural ability to influence and build trusted relationships
Strong political awareness and sound judgement
Experience leading communications through change
A leadership style that's collaborative, inclusive and empowering
CIPR or CIM qualification is desirable.

Where you'll be based
This is a home-based role, with regular travel (typically 2-3 days per week), mainly to Solihull and across our operating areas. You'll need to be ready to travel at short notice when needed.
