Are you a Teacher of Maths looking for your next position?

A large secondary school in Rochester are looking for a committed, passionate and hardworking an Maths Teacher to join their staff on a full-time basis from September 2026. The position is for at least 3 terms .Pupils come from a diverse and vibrant local community and benefit greatly from the stability and structure within the new academy and the dedicated staff team at the school. You will be required to teach to Maths to key stage 3 and key stage 4, following the school’s policy on planning and assessment. You will be joining a supportive department, who strive to maintain high standards and expectations.

This welcoming secondary school is based in Kent and is a offers an exciting learning environment for 11 – 19-year-olds. The school has a dynamic, personalised curriculum and is recognised as a Performing and Visual Arts specialist. The school achieves excellent results and behaviour is very good. To apply for this Maths Teacher role you will need to:

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience of teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Assessing, tracking, and recording pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Performing arts
Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.
