Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good background in food preparation with experience in a café or kitchen environment. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. You'll just need to follow recipes and are not required to create your own recipes.

Responsibilities

Bake a wide range of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
Prepare breakfast and lunch items on our menu, easy to cook meals just need to follow cooking and plating guide.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Follow plating guide/charts.
Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our standards.

Requirements

Previous experience as a chef or in a similar role within culinary or food production settings.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
