Houskeeping / Laundry Assistant | £12.85ph | 22hrs per week | Douglas Court Care Home, Derby | Alternate Weekend Work Required

Adept Care Homes is a family-run provider of residential and residential dementia care across the Midlands, supporting residents to live enriched, happy, and fulfilled lives within a friendly and caring environment.

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join the team at Douglas Court, our welcoming 43-bed residential care home in Ivy Square, Derby, where you will take pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, infection prevention, and laundry care. The role involves attention to detail in tasks such as vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, polishing, deep cleans, and ensuring a consistent supply of clean linen, towels, and residents’ personal clothing, while also enjoying positive interaction with residents and upholding our Adept family values of kindness, ownership, and clear communication.

We are recruiting a Housekeeper;

Pay of £12.85 Per Hour
22 Hours per week
Alternate Weekend Work Required

What we are looking for;

Previous Housekeeping experience (desirable)
Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
Positive and caring attitude (essential)
Attention to detail (essential)

You will be given a thorough induction into your role via one of our experienced mentors, while receiving both online and face to face training during this time and throughout your career at Adept Care. Our dedicated Training Manager and Dementia Manager are happy to arrange or support with any additional training you feel you may need to ensure you are supported in reaching your full potential while fulfilling your career ambitions.
