Job description
Gunite Solutions are looking for concrete repair experienced individuals to join us. We have a range of positions available currently.
Supervisors
We are looking for qualified or experienced site supervisors to help run works and keep projects running on time and budget. The ideal person would be in charge of small groups of people and report directly to the company directors and office manager. Supervision of site operatives would include all sprayed concrete, gritblasting and water jetting operations and as such the ideal person would have some knowledge of these operations. A driving licence is essential for this role. Company van would be provided. Being able to send and receive emails on a company tablet and good reading/writing skills for record keeping is also essential.
Sprayed concrete operatives
We are looking for sprayed concrete operatives including dry spray machine ops, EFNARC or SCA qualified nozzlemen and trowel hands/ finishers. The ideal applicants will have sound knowledge of the sprayed concrete field, and especially dry spray. The role would include being able to work as part of a team installing steel reinforcing, gritblasting, and the installation of sprayed concrete to very high standards. Works are UK wide and so must be willing to travel and stay away from home. Nights and weekend will also be expected at times.
A full UK driving licence is essential and capability to tow trailers is also a bonus. A company Van would be supplied where necessary and full PPE and uniform available.
These roles are currently offered on a self employed basis but this would be negotiable.
Concrete repair general operatives
We are also looking for general labour and concrete repair operatives to join us. The ideal candidate will be willing to work all hours as necessary to keep works on schedule. The candidate would work as a part of a team of operatives sent to different locations to carry out works. Quick learners will be preferred, and a positive can do attitude. This is all weather working and under Civils site conditions.
Works will involve using power tools, pneumatic equipment, manual labour and operating machines. Training will be provided
Driving licence is required and must be willing to travel.
All job openings will include a regular training scheme as required for different works. CSCS cards are required and we cannot accept anyone without a valid card.

Must have a good level of spoken English and be able to read and write English to a basic level.
