We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our friendly and dedicated Cheltenham Recovery Team. This part-time Band 4 role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting adults living with severe mental illness to regain stability, independence, and an improved quality of life.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with service users, placing their needs and aspirations at the heart of every intervention. You’ll provide practical and emotional support, helping individuals develop confidence, learn new skills, and engage with their communities in meaningful ways.
You will collaborate with a wide range of internal colleagues—such as nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, and peer workers—as well as external health and social care partners, ensuring a coordinated and person-centred approach to recovery. No two days are the same, and you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality community-based care.

Provide care coordination for an allocated caseload of service users, ensuring their needs are assessed, reviewed, and met through personalised care plans.

Working as part of a supportive and multidisciplinary team, the post-holder delivers person-centred, community-based interventions, ensuring service users are actively involved in their own care and treatment.

Main Responsibilities
Care Coordination: Hold a small caseload of service users, completing assessments, developing person-centred care plans, and regularly reviewing progress.
