We’re looking for an Operations & Projects Manager to play a key role in supporting operational leadership across the business, driving projects and system improvements, and acting as a senior escalation point across operational teams.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines operational leadership, project delivery, systems support, and continuous improvement.
You’ll work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Underwriting, Compliance, Risk, Finance and Commercial teams to help ensure the business continues to operate efficiently, compliantly and with a strong focus on customer outcomes.
You’ll also play a key role in driving operational improvements, supporting systems and process changes, and helping lead projects across the business.
This role would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, working across multiple teams, and taking ownership within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the day-to-day leadership of operational teams across the business.
· Act as a senior escalation point for Operations, Customer Service and Underwriting teams.
· Lead and support operational and systems-based projects.
· Coordinate testing, process changes and operational improvements.
· Support system configuration, troubleshooting and workflow improvements.
· Work closely with third-party providers and internal stakeholders.
· Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies.
· Support with complaint and operational issue resolution.
· Produce and maintain operational procedures and process documentation.
· Help drive continuous improvement across the business.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is a natural leader, operationally minded, highly organised, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities.
You’ll have:
· Experience supporting or leading operational teams and projects.
· Experience within operations and / or project delivery.
· Strong systems literacy and confidence working across operational platforms.
· Experience with CRM, LMS, ticketing or workflow systems.
· Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
· A hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
Desirable experience includes:
· Experience within a regulated environment.
· Consumer credit or financial services experience.
· Systems integrations, migrations or automation projects.
· Database management, coding or data extraction experience.
