Full job description

Big House Experience is a leading specialist in the UK luxury holiday rental market. Our aim is simple: to deliver truly exceptional stays in truly extraordinary homes for groups of friends, families, and corporate clients.

We carefully curate a portfolio of large, characterful properties, each selected for its space, comfort, and unique “wow” factor. Every stay is designed to feel effortless for our guests and seamless for our homeowners.

We are now looking for a Guest Experience & Operations Executive to join our friendly and fast-paced team in Cheltenham.

What You’ll Do

This is a varied, detail-focused role at the heart of the guest journey. You’ll ensure every booking runs smoothly from confirmation through to post-stay follow-up, delivering a consistently high level of service to both guests and homeowners.

Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a key point of contact for guests after booking, ensuring they receive clear, timely, and helpful communication before, during, and after their stay
Supporting guests with queries, requests, and any issues that arise, always maintaining a calm, professional, and solution-focused approach
Managing and tracking guest payments, ensuring balances are chased, recorded accurately, and reconciled in a timely manner
Raising and issuing invoices where required
Coordinating the collection, holding, and return of security deposits, ensuring processes are followed accurately and fairly
Liaising with property owners regarding deposits, damages, and post-stay matters, handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and care
Processing owner payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintaining accurate records across internal systems and ensuring all booking and financial information is kept up to date
Supporting continuous improvement of guest experience processes and internal operational workflows
Working closely with the wider team to ensure every stay meets the Big House Experience standard

Strong numeracy and literacy skills (excellent Maths and English)

Hours of Work

This is an office-based role – applications from those seeking either full or part-time roles are encouraged.

The Package

Salary: c.£20,000–£30,000 FTE, depending on experience
25 days’ annual leave including bank holidays (based on full-time)
Pension contribution of 3%

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
