Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester (Office Based)
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per year (£14.14 - £15.83 p/hr) depending on experience
Hours: 34 hours per week, based on 9-4 Mon-Thur, 9-3 Fri, with option for 8:30am start time if required.

Our team is passionate about achieving results and building long-term relationships with our clients. We're now looking for a Junior Marketing Assistant who wants to learn from our skillset, and who can enable us to grow our team.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate, or either college or university, who's got a keen interesting in launching a career in digital marketing. This role will primarily support the setup and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns across organic search (SEO) and paid advertising (PPC), helping clients improve their visibility online, generate quality leads and get great returns from their campaigns.
Alongside this, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in other areas of our marketing output, including website design and builds, videography, and video editing — making this a great role for someone who wants broad, hands-on experience across a full-service agency.
You'll work closely with our team to develop your skills from the ground up, with full support to complete your Google Skillshop certifications to have a firm foundation from which to build a career in digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
SEO & PPC
- Support the setup, management and optimisation of Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns
- Carry out keyword research, audience targeting and competitor analysis
- Write ad copy and help create engaging ad creatives
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Assist with on-page and off-page SEO work, including content optimisation, metadata updates and link building
- Conduct keyword research, technical audits and competitor analysis for SEO projects
Wider Marketing Support
· Assist with website design and build projects, primarily on WordPress
- Support videography shoots and help with video editing for clients and social content
- Help with graphic design tasks for campaigns, websites and social media
- Support wider client campaigns and projects as needed
About You
You're a recent graduate, from college or university, with a genuine interest in digital marketing — perhaps from a marketing, business, communications or related course. You're analytical, pay attention to detail, enjoy working as part of a small, friendly team, and like the idea of getting involved in different types of creative and technical work as you build your career.
Essential
- A qualification in marketing, business, communications or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- A good understanding of, or strong interest in, SEO and PPC best practices
- Familiarity with WordPress or a willingness to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn
- An understanding of Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager (e.g. through coursework, placements or personal projects) is a plus
Desirable
- Experience using Google Search Console or Ahrefs (or similar SEO tools)
- Experience with design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience with video editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve)
- An interest in or experience with videography/photography/drone use
