Overview

We are seeking a hands on Fractional Finance Manager to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with our Finance Directors and CFO's on client accounts. The role will include managing day to day financial processes, making improvements to existing processes and identifying ways that we can help our clients understand their numbers. As a key financial partner, you will drive financial clarity, optimise cost control measures, and ensure accurate financial reporting to help our clients achieve their fiscal goals. Responsibilities

Manage day to day financial accounting such as ledger management, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Develop and implement cost control strategies to maximise efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenses.
Possibly run payroll - dependent on experience.
Collaborate with leadership teams to prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
Support clients in navigating complex financial services requirements by offering financial information that our clients understand.

Requirements

Proven experience of working with SME's.
Strong background in financial accounting, including ledger maintenance and reconciliation procedures.
Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes and cost control strategies.
Payroll knowledge. VAT knowledge.
Knowledge of various software platforms including Xero.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
