The Legal Cashier role is an integral part of our Working Capital team, with positions available in Manchester, Leeds, and Liverpool the Specialist will lead end‑to‑end organisation.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre invoicing specialist with cashiering experience to apply their knowledge of best practices, ensuring consistent invoicing and cashiering functions. Responsibility:

Provide cashiering support and evaluation across all cashiering duties (BACS, faster payments, CHAPs, cheques).

Assist with cheque production for local and regional offices.

Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.

Maintain the cashiering queries inbox and deliver timely responses to stakeholders.

Collaborate with legal teams to prepare and send bills to clients.

Review and process high volumes of invoices efficiently and accurately.

Seek process improvement opportunities, focusing on leveraging technology for automation.

Adapt duties as priorities evolve within the team.
What will help you succeed in this role? :
Skills:

Demonstrable experience in a billing/legal cashiering role (desirable).

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft packages.

Ambitious, results-driven, and eager to learn.

Ability to perform transactional tasks with speed and accuracy.

Tech-savvy with an understanding of productivity-enhancing technologies.

Knowledge of CHAPS, BACS, and Faster Payments (desirable).

Familiarity with high-volume or shared services environments (desirable).

Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules (desirable).

Excellent organisational and time-management skills (desirable).
