We're looking for someone who wants to help build that vision from the ground up.
The Opportunity
Initially, we're looking for a self-employed technician to work alongside us as the business continues to grow.
This gives both of us the opportunity to see if we're the right fit.
If everything works well, we'd love for this role to develop into a long-term position within Meryan Vans.
The Work
Every day is different.
Typical jobs include:
- Mechanical servicing and repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Suspension and brake work
- Campervan repairs
- 12V & 230V electrical systems
- Leisure battery systems
- Solar installations
- Victron systems
- Diesel heaters
- Roof vents and skylights
- Window installations
- General upgrades and accessories
- Vehicle inspections and testing

Experience with campervans is a bonus, but it's not essential. A strong background in vehicle mechanics, auto electrics or similar trades is equally valuable.

Requirements
- Self-employed.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own tools preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay
Competitive day rate, based on experience and ability.
