Project & Operations Support
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (Pro Rata DOE)

About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a growing construction and technical services business to recruit a Project & Operations Support professional to join their collaborative team in Knutsford.
This is a varied and hands-on position supporting Project Managers and site teams across live construction and audio-visual projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects remain organised, compliant, and delivered efficiently through effective coordination, administration, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate project documentation and document control systems
Update project schedules, trackers, and reporting dashboards
Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, site visits, and resource planning
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track actions
Support Project Managers with RAMS and health & safety documentation
Assist with procurement, purchase orders, and subcontractor coordination
Support site mobilisation activities and maintain operative records including CSCS and DBS information
Assist with tenders, PQQs, and cost tracking activities
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and quality standards
Liaise confidently with site teams, subcontractors, and clients throughout project delivery
Requirements
Previous experience within a project support, operations, or coordination role
Construction, building services, electrical, or technical industry experience preferred
Good understanding of health & safety procedures and compliance requirements
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Confident coordinating project information, resources, and documentation
Familiarity with construction processes and project coordination workflows
Desirable Experience
Experience using engineer scheduling systems or AV software such as D-Tools
Knowledge of HSEQ processes and construction compliance
NVQ Level 3/4 in Health & Safety or similar qualification
APM PMQ, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualification
