Due to continued growth and increased demand, we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Growth / Inside Sales team. About the role:
This is a key entry point into EA Technology’s commercial organisation, responsible for building qualified pipeline and creating early-stage opportunities for our global sales teams. As an SDR, you will combine outbound prospecting with high-quality inbound lead handling to ensure strong pipeline generation across priority markets and segments.
You will often be the first point of contact for prospective customers, playing a critical role in shaping their initial experience with EA Technology. Working closely with Business Development Managers, Strategic Account Executives and Marketing, you will support both regional sales activity and account-based marketing programmes targeting strategic customers.
- Execute structured outbound prospecting into target accounts using phone, email, LinkedIn and sales engagement tools
- Engage decision-makers and generate qualified meetings for Business Development Managers and Market Leads
- Respond to and qualify inbound enquiries from marketing campaigns, website and events in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand customer needs, challenges and fit with EA Technology solutions
- Support account-based marketing (ABM) outreach into strategic accounts through personalised, multi-touch engagement
- Research and build target account lists in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activity, contacts and opportunities in the CRM
- Align outreach with marketing campaigns, content and events to ensure consistent messaging
- Use sales engagement and AI-enabled tools to improve outreach effectiveness and personalisation
- Develop knowledge of EA Technology’s products, target sectors and customer value propositions
What we’ll need from you:
- Experience in a sales, business development or customer-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging professional stakeholders
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting, including cold outreach and follow-up
- Organised and disciplined approach to CRM usage and pipeline management
- Resilience and self-motivation, with the ability to maintain quality and activity levels
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and develop in a commercial environment
Desirable:
- Experience in a B2B technology, infrastructure or industrial environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools (e.g. HubSpot or similar)
- Experience handling both inbound and outbound lead generation
- Interest in developing a career in field sales, account management or commercial leadership
