We are a growing construction, demolition, waste management, and property maintenance company delivering high-quality services to commercial clients. We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and versatile Multi-Trade Operative / Facilities technician to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be expected to work across all areas of the business, assisting with construction, demolition, waste clearance, property maintenance, and general labouring as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out a wide range of handyman and maintenance tasks.
* Perform basic multi-trade work including carpentry, painting and decorating, plaster repairs, tiling, flooring, and general building repairs.
* Assist with construction and refurbishment projects.
* Support demolition projects safely and efficiently.
* Load, transport, and dispose of waste and materials in accordance with company procedures.
* Carry out property clearances and site clean-ups.
* Operate hand and power tools safely.
* Work both independently and as part of a team.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
* Represent the company professionally when working on customer sites.
* Undertake any other duties required to support the business.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience as a handyman, multi-trade operative, builder, or general construction worker.
* Good practical skills across a range of trades.
* Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work.
* Ability to solve problems and work using your own initiative.
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
* Good communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in property clearances.
* CSCS Card.
* Asbestos Awareness.
* First Aid qualification.
* CPCS/NPORS plant tickets.
