Now into our third decade we are implementing an ambitious strategic growth plan. This will innovate and expand all aspects of our machinery manufacturing, cleaning, inspection, consulting and client operations with teams on site around the globe, cleaning and inspecting pressure containing equipment & pipelines.
With our continued growth in mind we now have vacancies for Operations Technicians to join the team based out of our Chester (Hawarden) office.
The role includes workshop duties at our offices, where manufacturing and maintenance of our specialist pumping machines takes place, as well as team operations on site in oil refineries throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Our ideal candidate will have strong mechanical engineering skills & knowledge to operate the diesel engine driven pump machinery and experience of operating in heavy industrial settings with high regard for colleague & personal safety. Computer literacy is important as we increasingly move to electronic means both for communication with our clients and the operation and analysis of our services. Previous experience in NDT would also be beneficial.
Additional language skills are desirable but not essential, as is the ability to drive HGVs in Europe. A valid passport will be required.
Overseas travel is typically of short duration – 1-3 weeks at a time - and for approximately 25-35% of the working year. Full training is provided along with a strong benefits package. Career progression may be either in our Decoking or Inspection teams. Pay varies dependant on the volume of site work completed.
