Full job description

A genuine private practice opportunity for a Paediatric OT with Sensory Integration Level 3 training, based in or around Liverpool or the Wirral.

You will work with an established caseload of children across the Wirral and Merseyside — including weekly EHCP cases, medico-legal and private clients ready to hand over — choosing the work that suits your interests and availability, starting from 1 to 2 days of client work per week with scope to grow. There is also potential for work extending into North Wales and Greater Manchester as caseload develops.

What you need

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
Sensory Integration training at Level 2 (essential) Level 3 (desirable) — for assessment and treatment
2+ years paediatric clinical experience
Experience with EHCP processes and school-based practice
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Based in or around Liverpool, the Wirral, or commutable to Merseyside

Also welcomed (not essential)

Experience with neurodivergence or Learning Difficulties
Existing private practice experience
Familiarity with North Wales or Greater Manchester geography

What we offer

£40–£50 per hour based on experience for all intervention work, additional paid travel time and mileage reimbursement
Established EHCP caseload and private clients available
Start from 1–2 days per week with scope to increase as caseload grows
You select your cases — private assessments, EHCP, intervention and litigation work available
All marketing, administration and payment collection handled by us
Clinical transition support led by Clinical Director Helen Spencer
Peer community of specialist OTs and dedicated online forum
Clinical templates, documentation and systems provided
No ICO (data protection) registration required for work through The OT Centre

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £40.00-£50.00 per hour
