Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Bricklayers Labourer with a valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will provide essential support to skilled bricklayers and masons, assisting with various tasks on-site to ensure smooth progress of building projects. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will contribute significantly to the successful completion of construction tasks, helping us deliver high-quality results efficiently. Duties
- Assist bricklayers and masons by preparing materials, tools, and work areas for daily tasks
- Handle and operate hand tools such as trowels, hammers, and chisels to support bricklaying activities
- Use power tools safely for cutting bricks, blocks, or other masonry materials under supervision
- Support with the mixing and transportation of mortar or other building materials on-site
- Help with basic carpentry tasks related to masonry projects, including framing or formwork support
- Assist in roofing preparations or repairs when required, following safety protocols
- Support welding activities if needed, ensuring proper safety measures are followed during metalwork tasks
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card demonstrating compliance with construction site safety standards
- Experience or familiarity with hand tools used in masonry and construction work
- Basic knowledge of bricklaying, masonry techniques, and related construction processes
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Some experience in carpentry or roofing is advantageous but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills such as welding or advanced masonry techniques
- Strong teamwork ethic with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality
