Door Supervisors
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, and guests at various venues. You will be the first point of contact for customers and guests, ensuring that they comply with all entry requirements and maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere. You will work to prevent any illegal activity or disorderly behaviour, liaising with other team members and local authorities when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Entry: Greet customers and verify their ID to ensure compliance with age restrictions. Conduct searches where necessary for prohibited items. Enforce venue rules and dress codes.
- Monitoring Safety: Maintain a visible presence on the door and throughout the venue to prevent any potential conflicts or incidents. Regularly check the premises for any security issues and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communication:: Work closely with other door staff, bar staff, and management to ensure smooth operations. Report any incidents or issues to management and keep accurate records of events that occur during your shift.
- Customer Service: While enforcing the venue’s policies, maintain a friendly, professional attitude to ensure a positive guest experience.
Key Requirements:
- SIA License: A valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) Door Supervisor licence
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including guests, staff, and law enforcement.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required by the venue’s operating hours.
