Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Pub Manager to lead the daily operations of a vibrant pub environment. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of pub management, ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality food and beverage offerings, and a welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about food, drinks, and creating lively social spaces.

Duties

Manage the overall daily operations of the pub, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring smooth service flow
Supervise and motivate team members across food preparation, serving, barista services, and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences
Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patrons
Coordinate food production and culinary activities, supporting kitchen staff in preparing high-quality dishes with attention to detail
Lead by example in hospitality excellence, fostering a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews
Monitor bar operations, including drink service and barista activities, ensuring efficient service and quality standards are met
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests leave satisfied and eager to return

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in hospitality settings such as restaurants or pubs with team management responsibilities
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
Experience in restaurant or hotel environments with knowledge of food safety standards
Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
Knowledge of barista services and beverage preparation is a plus
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Must have 2 years experience of running a pub.
Must be able to provide references.
