Private Client Legal Assistant – Fareham

Full-Time | Permanent | Competitive Salary

A reputable, Lexcel-accredited law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Assistant to join its busy Fareham office.

This is a varied position providing secretarial and administrative support across all areas of private client work. The successful candidate will help the team operate efficiently while ensuring clients receive a consistently high standard of service.

Responsibilities

Managing diaries and arranging appointments
Handling new client enquiries and completing compliance checks
Opening, closing and archiving files
Audio typing and digital dictation
Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
Liaising professionally with clients and third parties
Providing general secretarial and administrative support

The Candidate

Previous experience within Private Client Law is essential. Applicants should have excellent communication, organisation and client-care skills, together with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

You should be confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy team. A proactive, flexible and professional approach is essential.
