Overview
We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our financial services team in Lee On The Solent. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about financial planning and looking to develop their career within a professional environment. The successful candidate will support financial advisers by preparing and analysing client information, ensuring compliance, and assisting in the delivery of tailored financial solutions. This paid position is ideal for those with a keen interest in the financial services sector and a desire to grow their expertise.

Note: Applicants must have a minimum of Level 4 Qualification and must have prior Paraplanning experience.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of client financial plans, including cash flow analysis, investment strategies, and retirement planning.
Gather and verify client data to ensure accuracy and completeness for financial advice purposes.
Conduct research on various financial products and market conditions to support adviser recommendations.
Prepare documentation required for client meetings, including reports, summaries, and compliance paperwork.
Maintain organised client records in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Support the adviser team with administrative tasks related to client onboarding and ongoing service delivery.
Stay updated on changes within the financial services industry, particularly relating to financial planning regulations and best practices.

Skills

Prior experience in financial services or financial planning is required.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail when reviewing client information and financial data.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
Proficiency in relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office, familiarity with specialised financial planning tools such as FE, Transact, Volume is advantageous.
A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous professional development within the financial sector. This position offers a valuable pathway into the world of financial planning, supporting career growth through hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
