1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To receive, check and examine the inventory of stock that arrives in warehouses and storage facilities where stock is held. To cross reference incoming goods against their respective invoices & ensure there are no discrepancies. To oversee and manage the stock minimum and maximum stock levels for key materials, and ensure all stock recording is accurate and reflective of warehouse conditions
This role is best suited to a person who is well organised and has the ability to self-identify requirements and manage their own time accordingly. Attention to detail and basic computer skills are required.
2. POSITION IN ORGANISATION
Reports directly to the Technical team with responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of stock management for the businesses’ operational requirements
3. SCOPE OF JOB
Main Responsibilities
Health & safety
· Ensure work areas are kept clean, tidy and safe
· Ensuring engineering tools are correctly asset tagged, records are kept updated and where applicable, Portable Appliance Testing is carried out
· Manage all inbound deliveries, recording received items onto our stores management system.
· Despatching items as required using our network of couriers. You will have a good knowledge of our courier network, including unusual and hazardous deliveries, ensuring items are sent using the most appropriate service.
· Monitor ‘Min/Max’ levels for our field-based engineers stock holdings, ensuring stock is replenished when required in a timely manner to support our engineers in delivering a high first time fix rate.
· Manage the rotation of expiring stock items, ensuring wastage is kept to a minimum
· Process inbound waste streams in line with our ISO14001 processes.
· Carry out regular stock takes, identifying and recording any losses.
· Process ‘Return to Manufacturer’ requests for faulty items, keeping accurate record of outstanding requests.
· Process delivery notes and invoices for materials, keeping accurate records of stock locations.
· Inspecting incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects, reporting any findings to the supplier or relevant party.
· Process and manage ‘Loop’ stock with our repairs and refurbishment providers.
· Keep stores and waste management areas clean, tidy and safe.Quality and Standards
· Maintain standards in relation to Quality Management system and industry accreditations

Support the coordination of operational delivery, through rigorous stock management
5. KEY INTERFACES (Internal / External)
Technical Manager, Project Manager, Administration Team Leader, Technical Director, Operations Director, field-based engineering team, customers, suppliers, external consultants and external auditors.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
