What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Why You’ll Love It)
- Fix it, paint it, build it, improve it — joinery, painting & decorating, general repairs, you’ll keep the home looking its best.
- Keep us safe — fire checks, water safety, and health & safety compliance are part of your daily rhythm.
- Stay organised — completing paperwork, logging jobs, and updating our digital system (yep, we’re modern like that).
- Work with pride — making sure the building functions flawlessly and looks welcoming for everyone who steps inside.
- Pitch in with energy — every day is different, so you’ll need to be hands-on, adaptable, and ready for anything.
- Be reliable when it matters — you’ll join the on-call rota on alternate weekends, making sure we always have cover for essential maintenance support.
You’ll Fit Right In If You…
- Have solid maintenance experience (care home setting is a big advantage).
- Know your way around joinery, decorating, repairs, and odd jobs.
- Are comfortable with paperwork and digital platforms (because ticking boxes is as important as tightening bolts).
- Can work independently, but also enjoy being part of a lively team.
- Bring enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a keen eye for detail.
- Understand the importance of flexibility and are happy to be on-call on alternate weekends.
