The Role
Due to the commencement of a large-scale project, Ambrey is seeking a project finance coordinator to support the Project Finance Business Partner. The coordinator will principally be responsible for importing high volumes of supplier invoices in multiple currencies into the finance system and reconciling these to client payments. The role is key to the successful financial management of the project.
Responsibilities
↘ Import and process high volumes of supplier invoices across multiple currencies into the finance system
↘ Verify invoice accuracy against contracts, or supplier agreements prior to processing
↘ Ensure correct currency conversion and coding of invoices to the relevant project/cost centre
↘ Act as a key point of contact for supplier queries relating to invoicing and payment status
↘ Flag and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal stakeholders in a timely manner
↘ Reconcile supplier invoices against client payments received for the project.
↘ Maintain accurate records of outstanding invoices and unmatched payments
↘ Prepare and issue weekly reports comparing project spend to client payments
Qualifications and skills
↘ Part-qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA with a minimum of two years previous relevant experience.
↘ Excellent IT skills including all Microsoft Office programs.
↘ Previous use of Sage 50 would be desirable.
↘ Strong administrative skills, with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment, meet deadlines and maintain a high attention to detail.
↘ Clear communicator, able to liaise with suppliers, project teams, and finance stakeholders
↘ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
↘ Confident and able to make informed decisions
Terms and Conditions
- Salary: Commensurate with experience
- Annual Leave: 25 days per annum plus public holidays
- Working hours: 08:30am to 17:30pm Monday to Friday
- Job type: Fixed-Term for 12-months

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
