Full job description

CNC Machinist Opportunity Position Details

4-day working week: Monday to Thursday
39 hours per week
Rotating shifts: 2-week Dayshift/Nightshift rotation
Overtime opportunities available at 1.5x standard rate, with the potential for 2x rate on Nightshift
Nightshift premium: 1.33x hourly rate

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous CNC machine setting and operating experience
Experience using Siemens, MAPPS, or STAR controls (training can be provided)
Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or be a time-served machinist
Proven experience machining a variety of materials to tight tolerances
Experience operating 3-axis or 4-axis machines (essential)

Desirable Experience

Experience with 7-axis machines
Experience with 9-axis machines
Turning experience (5+ years preferred)
CNC programming experience (2+ years preferred)
CNC operating experience (5+ years preferred)
