Full job description

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is a team player and has an excellent eye for detail. The candidate must be well presented, have good organisation, communication and IT skills. An ability to multitask and a positive “can do” work ethic is essential.

Bookkeeper with AAT level 4 qualification as a minimum, and recent experience in managing payroll.

We have a high focus on customer service and so excellent interpersonal/communication skills are imperative.

We will provide a dynamic working environment and supported on-the-job training and development. We are a sociable firm with a future-focused, contemporary outlook.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Managing and processing a portfolio of bookkeeping clients
Managing and processing payrolls for our clients
P11D preparation
Accounts analysis and preparation
Bookkeeping on cloud based solutions
Preparation of correspondence to clients, HMRC and Companies House
Contacting clients, HMRC or other organisations for information
Assisting other team members with producing reports and returns
Vat return preparation and VAT health checks
MTD enrollments and quarterly returns
Making submissions to HMRC and Companies House
General office administration.
