Are you an experienced learning mentor or teaching assistant with a passion for supporting students with SEMH needs? Are you nurturing, understanding and resilient? Do you want to feel valued, supported and part of a team? Due to continued growth in our school we are looking for new colleagues to join our school community.

Valley Bridge School is a newly opened specialist independent school for pupils aged 6 to 19 years, based in a beautiful location in Gloucestershire. Our creative, individualised approach to learning, is centred around well-being and skills for independence. From the time our students arrive, we start thinking about where our students will be moving to after they leave us to ensure they are well prepared to achieve their goals and succeed.

This is a term-time only post, starting at £22,692 per annum. Following a successful probationary period, this will increase to £23,442 per annum. Please note that this increase will take effect from the September following the completed probation period.

Due to our blossoming reputation and positive, creative ethos, Valley Bridge School is growing rapidly, with plenty of space for more students in our beautiful, expansive setting. As a result, we are looking for kind, collaborative and skilled individuals to join our highly proficient team as we expand, whilst continuing to deliver a unique and experiential learning journey for all of our young people.

We are therefore looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and creative learning mentors who are open to learning a modern approach to teaching pupils with social, emotional, mental health needs.

We understand the importance of building meaningful relationships with pupils and families to nurture growth and development of relational milestones such as, building trust and sharing enjoyment. Care and making connections are at the heart of our ethos and we work hard to ensure that all staff feel cared for too.
