Full job description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a capable and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team this winter. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, focussed and reliable. They will help prepare equipment and materials for despatch, clean, tidy and receive incoming goods too. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. This will be a temporary role for 3 months - October / November / December

Duties:

Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse
Wrap and prepare pallets as instructed
Test and prepare rental machines for desaptch
Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to load and unload goods as necessary.
Use our Warehouse Management Software for tracking inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
Engage in picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer requirements.
Maintain a tidy and orderly warehouse, sweeping, cleaning and organising the warehouse space.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with warehouse operations.
Skills in materials handling, including safe lifting techniques and equipment operation.
Experience with shipping & receiving processes is advantageous.
Proficiency in using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is beneficial.
Knowledge of quality control practices within a warehouse setting is desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. We look forward to welcoming a new member who is eager to contribute positively to our warehouse operations!
