Legal Assistant / Paralegal

Location: Bampton, Oxfordshire (Office-based)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are now seeking a motivated Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support our growing team.

The Role

You will provide essential support to fee earners and solicitors, assisting with client communication, and day-to-day administrative tasks across a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation and management of files in both conveyancing and private client matters
Drafting documents and correspondence
Liaising with clients and third parties
Conducting legal research where required
Managing diaries, deadlines, and case management systems
Supporting fee earners with conveyancing and/or private client matters
General administrative and office support duties

About You

Previous experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or legal admin role (preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
A proactive and professional attitude
