Full job description

Full time Teacher of Biology

Required for January 2027

Parental Leave Cover for up to 12 months

Cheltenham Ladies’ College has a competitive pay scale with membership of the TPS, or membership of a Defined Contribution (DC) Pension Scheme. The DC option includes an additional non-pensionable cash allowance

Starting salary depending on skills, qualifications and experience

A well-qualified, inspiring and dynamic teacher is required to teach Biology. We have a thriving and innovative Biology department attracting over 140 students to one of our Sixth Form courses including A level Biology and IB Biology. A large number of students choose to go on to study Biology related courses at degree level including Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Psychology and Natural Sciences.

The successful applicant will be part of a team of eleven specialist teachers. The department is well-resourced and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided.

All teachers are expected to contribute to the rich co-curricular life of the College, but there are no residential duties.
