Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a flair for creating personalised styles that enhance our clients' confidence. This role offers an opportunity to utilise a diverse skill set, including barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application, within a welcoming and professional environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Duties

Provide customised hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client preferences.
Perform specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application.
Offer expert advice on hair care products and styling techniques to optimise client satisfaction.
Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and maintaining client records.
Upsell products and additional services to enhance the client experience and maximise revenue.
Mentor junior staff or apprentices, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Assist with store management duties as required, ensuring the salon operates smoothly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber, with a strong portfolio of work.
Knowledge of store management practices is advantageous.
Skilled in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and colour techniques.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Experience in front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and client management.
Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a positive working environment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of service delivery.
