Role Overview:
Are you an organised, proactive and detail-oriented administrator looking to join a growing Early Years organisation? We are looking for an experienced Admin Manager to support the smooth day-to-day running of our nursery operations while working closely with management, HR and finance teams.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will play a key part in recruitment administration, staff onboarding, compliance, finance administration and supporting families through the enrolment process. You will help ensure our nursery maintains high standards across all administrative and operational areas.

About you
· Previous administration experience essential
· Experience working within an Early Years or education setting desirable
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Knowledge of safeguarding and compliance processes desirable
· Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
· Professional, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
Key responsibilities
· Supporting recruitment administration including offer letters and interview bookings
· Managing staff onboarding including DBS checks, right to work checks and staff documentation
· Ensuring all onboarding and compliance checks are completed before staff start dates
· Supporting HR administration and maintaining accurate staff records
· Assisting with payroll and finance administration processes
· Supporting headcount management across nursery settings
· Ensuring invoices are sent, payments are received and records remain accurate
· Managing nursery orders and supporting purchase order systems
· Supporting compliance and maintaining accurate documentation
· Completing and processing funding forms for children across boroughs
· Contacting prospective parents and responding to enquiries via phone, email and in person
· Supporting child enrolment and onboarding processes
· Ensuring registration documents are fully completed and recorded
· Booking nursery showarounds for prospective families
· Supporting transition documentation and maintaining child records
· Taking meeting minutes and maintaining organised administrative systems
· Supporting maintenance coordination where required
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in our nurseries. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
