Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, doing the orders and that all customers feel welcome and valued. Duties
- Greet and seat customers promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area throughout service.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Ability to analyse customer needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Experience with data entry for order processing is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- A friendly demeanour with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
