About the Role:
London is one of the world’s leading centres for financial technology and digital innovation, and at Grow With Z Financial Solutions, we create products that help people understand their finances, make informed decisions and work towards meaningful financial goals.
We develop accessible digital tools that simplify financial information and provide users with practical guidance, personalised insights and a clearer view of their progress.
We believe that financial products should be useful, transparent and easy to understand rather than complicated or intimidating.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager who can take ownership of our digital product strategy and guide products from early discovery through launch and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with engineering, design, data, marketing and compliance teams to identify customer needs and turn them into valuable digital experiences.
You are not simply maintaining a product roadmap. You are defining which problems matter, validating proposed solutions and ensuring that every release delivers measurable value to users and the business.
You will also support less experienced product professionals, contribute to company planning and help establish consistent product management practices across the organisation.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our London based team provides a collaborative and commercially focused environment where product managers are trusted to make informed decisions and take ownership of results.
Product Maturity:
You will not need to convince us that customer research and product data matter.
We value clear product strategies, evidence based decisions and measurable outcomes over unnecessary features or unsupported assumptions.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
You will work closely with software engineers, product designers, data analysts, marketers, compliance specialists and commercial stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Meaningful Products:
The products you manage will help users improve their financial understanding, organise important information and make more confident financial decisions.
Growth:
You will receive support for relevant product management training, professional development and continued learning in financial technology, customer research and digital product strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy:
Develop and communicate product strategies that align customer needs with the organisation’s commercial and operational objectives.
End to End Product Management:
Lead the product process from opportunity discovery and concept validation through prioritisation, development, launch and post release evaluation.
Roadmap Ownership:
Create and maintain a clear product roadmap based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility and regulatory requirements.
Team Coordination:
Coordinate engineers, designers, analysts and commercial stakeholders throughout product discovery and delivery.
Set clear priorities and ensure that teams understand the intended outcomes of each initiative.
Customer Research:
Do not rely on assumptions.
Use interviews, surveys, behavioural data and usability testing to understand user needs and validate proposed solutions.
Product Requirements:
Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable success indicators.
Performance Analysis:
Monitor product adoption, engagement, conversion, retention and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Prioritisation:
Evaluate competing requests and determine which opportunities should be pursued, delayed or declined based on available evidence and expected value.
Stakeholder Management:
Present product strategies, priorities and performance updates to technical and non technical stakeholders.
You can explain why a product decision is necessary, not simply communicate what the team will build.
Risk and Compliance:
Work with legal, risk and compliance specialists to ensure products meet relevant financial services, privacy and data protection requirements.
Product Launches:
Coordinate product releases with engineering, customer support, marketing and commercial teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
Team Development:
Support Junior and Mid level product professionals through mentoring, roadmap reviews and constructive feedback.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 6 years of product management experience, including responsibility for delivering complex digital products in a commercial environment.
Industry Knowledge:
Previous experience in financial technology, personal finance, banking, digital payments, investment technology or another regulated sector is preferred.
Product Strategy:
Strong experience developing product visions, roadmaps, business cases and prioritisation frameworks.
Customer Research:
Practical experience conducting user interviews, testing product concepts and applying customer insights to product decisions.
Data Analysis:
You can interpret product analytics, customer behaviour and commercial performance data to identify opportunities and evaluate results.
Delivery Knowledge:
Strong understanding of agile product development, software delivery processes and collaboration with engineering and design teams.
Commercial Awareness:
You understand how product decisions affect revenue, customer acquisition, retention, operational cost and long term business value.
Leadership Skills:
Previous experience coordinating cross functional teams, influencing stakeholders and mentoring less experienced product professionals is preferred.
Communication Skills:
Strong professional English is required for product documentation, stakeholder presentations, team collaboration and customer research.
Technical Skills:
Confident using product management, analytics and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Productboard, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics or similar platforms.
Mindset:
You are curious, commercially aware and customer focused.
You know when to investigate a problem further, when to challenge an unsupported request and when to launch a focused solution rather than delay progress in pursuit of unnecessary perfection.
