About the Role

As a Technician in our Norwich Showroom, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our vehicles are in excellent condition and ready for collection by performing assessments and repairs on vehicles prior to sale, ensuring they meet the required quality standards before reaching customers. The Technician will work within the On-Site Sales Technician team to identify and resolve issues accurately, contributing to efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

PDI Technician
Level 2 Vehicle Technician Qualification (semi-skilled or qualified technicians welcome)
MOT Certificate
Full UK manual Driving License - applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet our insurance requirements and therefore may not be eligible for employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform vehicle inspections to a high standard, ensuring all mechanical repairs are identified and addressed effectively.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults, ensuring vehicles meet pre-sale quality standards.
Identify and resolve electrical faults through systemic diagnostics.
Utilise wiring diagrams proficiently to trace faults.
Competently operate diagnostic instruments.
Conduct basic coding and programming operations, ensuring electronic systems function optimally.
Source required information including technical manuals and software tools to support accurate diagnosis and repairs.
