Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join Prior Power Solutions. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting HR functions, providing expert guidance on employee relations, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
This role will be at our headquarters in Great Yarmouth. We are open to candidates seeking full-time, part-time or flexible working. Please state in your application your preference.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior management to design and deliver HR strategies that support business goals.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle: Recruitment, Onboarding, Development, Performance, and Exits.
- Lead on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievances, and redundancy processes and provide generalist support.
- Maintain and improve HR policies and our HR information system.
- Analyse and report on key HR metrics, supporting strategic decision-making.
- As the primary HR presence at the site, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and commercially focused professional advice on HR policies, procedures, employment legislation, and best practice across a wide range of day-to-day matters.
- Provide commercially sound recommendations based on data insights, operational needs, and knowledge of employment legislation and relevant case law.
- Support and coach managers to effectively manage attendance, productivity, and team performance.
- Interpret and analyse HR data to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Coordinate logistics for HR-related activities and initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
- Update CVs and competencies, monitor and organise employee training.
- Any other duties required by the business.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience working in an SME
- Proven experience as a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor in a generalist capacity
- Strong up-to-date knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practice
- Confident working independently and influencing at a senior level
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Qualifications
CIPD qualified (Associate or working towards) or equivalent experience
