Full job description

ROLE: Joiner
LOCATION: Cumbria / Sellafield

We're looking for a Fabric Engineer to join our Fabric Team on the Cumbria Consortium contract, supporting the delivery of planned, reactive and project maintenance across a large nuclear site.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and project works safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Complete all work-related documentation accurately and promptly, including engineering worksheets, written job descriptions, personal records and vehicle records.
Communicate effectively with clients, planners, Team Leaders and line management, providing clear updates on progress, issues and additional work opportunities.
Work in full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, Sellafield SLSPs, site-specific requirements, company policies and statutory obligations.
Support stakeholder meetings, safe systems of work, scope definition and ongoing service improvements while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

Relevant trade qualification, minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence.
Good understanding of site operations, health & safety best practice and high-quality workmanship standards.
Experience liaising with client representatives on operational and health & safety matters.
Fire door maintenance or installation experience is desirable, with FIRAS accreditation, fire stopping training and IOSH Working Safely certification advantageous.
